We have added one of our photos. If you have any ideas on fundraising, please let us know. Or even fill out the idea form on the Fundraising site.

Some letters from our showgroup cruise participants
The cruise
I had been waiting a whole 365 days to go on the cruise and on the 29th of September I stopped waiting and hopped aboard the
P&O Pacific Sun Cruise.
It was great because
1 I didn't have to clean my room
2 I had friends and family aboard
3 You could dress or be crazy without anyone caring.
Dinner was excellent because we had 5 courses. It started with the appetizer then the soup then the entrée then the main course and then dessert.
My favorite nights were theme nights. On Hawaiian night I wore all the things I bought on Mystery Island and was partying from 8:30pm until 12:30am in the morning.
On superhero night, I dressed up as cat woman in skintight clothes with fluffy ears.
On 50's rock and roll night Lisa and I went nuts. We had a lot of eyeliner on and make up on with our rock and roll skirts and learnt the hand jive. On country and western night, I dressed up but was too tired to party. We went to New Caledonia , Mystery Island , Wala Island and divine Island . At New Caledonia I took a little train around the city and after that went to Lemon Bay with Zoe. Zoe and I counted 7 women sun baking topless because the island is French. Mystery island was beautiful I wanted to snorkel but I was scared of the sea cucumbers (looked like black poo that doesn't move) that were near my face in the shallow reef. I bought all my island gear from the beautiful and CHEAP markets.
We took Zara and tiffany to Wala Island where there were no sea cucumbers. I snorkeled and looked at the beautiful fish. The village people were very kind. I met a little island girl named Gabriella who swam with her eyes open. On Divine Island , I saw many starfish but the water was too foggy to see most of the reef. I also saw a seahorse. I met friends in the teen club. We played a dress up scavenger hunt and I was the poor soul who had wear whatever was on the list including nail polish on one hand and a shower cap. The shows were great especially Williams and Claire who were extremely funny. The show we did was the best of course with people standing in the aisles just to watch us. One of my costumes gave me a bit of a wedgie but oh well. I felt really happy up on stage. Soon it was time to say goodbye and kiss my lovely ship farewell.(until nxt time I hope)

This is a story of the Cruise that other people and me had with me. If you
didn't already know who this is well its me, Zoe. This holiday was the
best holiday I have ever been on. You know how you have to go on some
holidays with your family, well, we didn't. I never got to see my parent
or my brother anywhere only by passing them. On the cruise you were never
bored. Many thing to go.
When we performed on the Tuesday (I think) it was so fun. I went to the
stretch class in the morning so I can be warmed up in the morning and at
12noon, all of us had to be practicing for the 2:15 show. The performance
had been the best show I have ever done. So many people watching you. The
entire seats were full and you had people standing up. I was so nervous I
had butterflies in my stomach.
That wasn't all the fun I had. There were many things to do many things to
buy. Also You were never on the ship all the time, They had islands to go
to. I went snorkeling. Shopping, and walking. The islands that we went to
were Numea, Emerald Island, Wala and Mystery Island (not in that order).
On the very last day, it was so sad that we had to say goodbye to everyone
and the fun we had.

Hi I'm Stefanie and dancing on the cruise ship Pacific Sun was so much
fun.
There were so many things to do on the ship like hang out in the arcade,
use the big pool slide, hop in the spa, watch live entertainment, movies
and so much more.
Teen club was also really cool, there was a huge plasma screen T.V in
there with a PS2 and DVD player. Teen club sent out a flyer everyday to
your room telling you what activities they had planned for you for that
day. We also got sent another newsletter called the Sun Daily, which tells
you what's on that day, like live shows, movies, t-shirt painting, stuff
like that. Some days they had scavenger hunts for teen club, Pippa, Zara
and I did it once. It was so funny. They gave you a list and you had to go
to your room and find as many as the things on the list and wear them back
to teen club. Some of these thing were really odd, like men's Speedos,
shower cap and nail polish on your left hand, but at the end pippa looked
beautiful. LOL.
On the 5th day of the cruise we performed in the Atlantis Show Lounge. It
was packed. There were people sitting on the stairs and the floor, I
couldn't believe it! Being up on that stage was so amazing and exciting
and heart throbbing, it was a once in a lifetime experience. It was so
much fun! After we did our performance, there was a party in the OZ
nightclub from 4.00 to 5.30. All we did there was eat food, and play
games. One of the games was were you had to roll a 6 on a dice and put on
all the clothing they provided and cut the chocolate with a knife and fork
and eat it until somebody else rolled a 6. I rolled a 6 once, Pippa was
angry with me because I didn't eat enough chocolate!
While on the cruise the boat had to stop to restock food and stuff and
those were the days we went on islands. 1st was Nuema, it was a Sunday and
everything was closed, but Zara's family, Zoe's family, my mum and I went
on a shore tour. We went around Nuema and went to one look out and we got
told a little bit of history about the town. Next was Mystery Island,
there were markets and lots of islanders. That night was island night so
there were a lot of hula skirts and lays, so we could get all dressed up
that night. They had other things there too but mostly hula skirts. The
water there was beautiful, it was so warm, the only nock back were these
things in the water that looked like poo. They weren't, they were sea
cucumbers, but Lisa and I called them squishies because we stepped on one
and it squished.
Wala Island was really good. There were no squishies in the water. The
little islander kids were so cute. A few of them gave me frangipani', it
was soooooo cute! When I was there I held a turtle and a starfish. I'd
never held a starfish before so that was new to me. I bought a few
necklaces, mum bought a handbag and fans for friends but that was all. The
water here was so warm, even warmer that the last island.
The last Island we visited was Emerald Bay. It was beautiful! The people
from the boat bought lunch over with them so we didn't have to go back on
the boat to eat lunch. It was just hamburgers and hotdogs, but they were
really yummy so, who cares. There really was much to buy at this Island
but what there was to buy was good. I bought a sarong and 2 bracelets.
When we were there, I made Bronte and Zoe stand outside the ladies toilet
sign and I took a picture of them. It was so funny.
All I can say now is that, going on the pacific Sun rocked!

MY HOLIDAY ON THE CRUISE!!!!! For the first couple of days we were all trying not to get lost. The first night I met a few girls at dinner. Larissa, Caterina and Marina. The next day my friends and I went around looking at everything that was there. After dinner we went to the arcade, we went there after dinner about every night. When I woke up the next morning I got dressed and went to breakfast, when I came back I put my swimmers on and went up to the pool. The slide was so fun. The next morning my dad woke me up at about 7:00am and told me to look out the window. When I looked out the window I saw Noumea. I saw some islanders greeting us when we arrived at the wharf. They were playing drums and other instruments and singing. I got some cool jewelry and two cool dolls. For the next two days my friends and I went swimming in the pool and played in the arcade. On the sixth day we were at Mystery Island. It had no electricity but a really cool market place. I got some pretty bracelets and a cool grass skirt. The next day we were at Wala, Wala had some really cute island kids and one of the islander kids came swimming with me and her name is Gabriella. The eighth day we were at sea again and that was the day we performed. You might think that dancing on a ship at sea is hard but it was quite easy. It was heaps of fun. After we performed we had a little party in the OZ bar and played a few cool games. At 6:30 and 9:30 there was a show performed by some passengers that were picked out of the audience and my mum was one of them. It was really funny and it had some singing in it. The next day we went to Divine Island I didn't go because I wasn't feeling very well so I slept all day. Today was the last day at sea and the ship was rocking a lot. Some very funny guys performed at 6:00 and it was so funny. After that my sister and I went to the arcade for the last time. The last morning was so boring we had to wait in a couple of lines for a while, but there was a funny thing that happened, my mum got pulled over by the sniffer dog and there was nothing wrong with the bag he was sniffing. When I got home I slept.
